Gloria was born in Pottstown, PA on November 9, 1931, a daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Hill) Yost. She was employed by Wilson Safety Products in Reading, as an assembler for 15 years and all while raising her growing family. Gloria was a faithful and devoted member of St John's Gibraltar UCC.
Surviving are her 5 sons; Charles S. Amos Jr, widower of Nestoria (Amy), Richard L. Amos, widower of Michelle, James T. and his wife Pamela Amos, Keith W. and his wife Sue Amos and Kevin A. and his wife Amy Amos, grandchildren; Matthew Amos, Jennifer Amos, Benjiman Amos, Jeremy Amos, Jonah Amos, Christalene Amos, Naomi (Amos) Wallace, Valerie Victoria (Amos) Brock, Jonathan Amos, Alex Amos, Robbie Reid Lee Amos, Richard Amos II, Rachel Ashley (Amos) Hill, Nicohl M. Amos, Geoffrey Raunzahn, Cohl Stephen Shain Amos, Nadine (Amos) Fromknecht, Joshua Proano and Zachary Proano and 34 great grandchildren.
Gloria was predeceased by her daughter, Cathy Lynn Amos and siblings; Robert W. Yost, Richard Yost and Sandra Kimbley.
A viewing for Gloria will be Wednesday May 27, 2026 from 10:30-11:30 AM in St. John's Gibraltar UCC, 57 St John Rd, Birdsboro PA 19508, with services to commence at 11:30AM. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Gibraltar UCC at the above address.
