Helen A. Psaros

Helen A. Psaros, 85, passed away on February 18, 2014 , in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township. Her husband, George J. Psaros, passed away in 2008. Helen was born in Reading, March 31, 1928, a daughter of the late Constantine and Marianthi (Fotiou) Arnidis.

She was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen and St. Nicholas GOC's, was a lifetime member and President of Daughters of Penelope, and served as a church organist. Helen's New York CBS Television career culminated as executive assistant to the VP of Corporate Affairs. She was an accomplished needlework artist, read extensively, and loved Broadway Shows and The Met.

Helen is survived by one brother, Fotios Arnidis of Reading, 7 nieces and nephews, and 3 godchildren; Chris Fecera, Elaine Gatsos, and Ty Petrakis. She was predeceased by her sister Niki Kousoulides and her brother James Arnidis.

Funeral services will be Saturday February 22, 2014 at 12noon at Sts. Constantine and Helen GOC 1001 E Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA 19611. Friends may call from 11-12noon in the church. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made to Sts. Consatntine and Helen GOC at the above address or St. Nicholas GOC 1607 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem, PA 18018 in her memory. Theo. C.
