

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Irvin J. Sr. and Stella V. (Marcinkowski) Hartman.
Irvin was an Air National Guard Veteran in the 148th Fighter Squadron serving during the Korean War.
He was employed by Firestone as a tire builder, where he retired after 29 years of service. After retiring, he worked in security for IZOD Lacoste and Gilbert and Associates.
He is survived by his children: Barbara (Hartman) Simms, of Reading, Teresa F. Hartman, of Reading, Thomas M. Hartman, of Reinholds, and Andrew F. Hartman Sr. and his wife, Cecilia, of Reading.
Other survivors include 5 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with a brother, Edward, and two step-sons, Michael and David Parese.
Irvin was predeceased by his son, James A. Hartman; his grandson, Nathan T. Hartman; and his brothers: Felix, John and Eugene Hartman; and his step-daughter, Kim Dunlop.
Family and friends may extend their sympathy and respects on Monday, May 16, 2016, at the Auman's, lnc., Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. There will be a brief Service at 10:30 a.m. with the Burial to follow at the Forest Hills Memorial Park.
