Jacquelyn R. Nardo, 74, of Reading, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025. She is survived by her significant other, Ronnie G. Gilbert and was predeceased by her husband, James R. Nardo on July 7, 2000.
Jacquelyn was born in West Reading, on February 13, 1951 a daughter of the late Alvin L. and Lillian M. (Kline) Showalter. She was a teacher at Lorane Elementary School in Exeter for 35 years retiring there. Jacquelyn was an avid Longaberger basket collector and dealer. She also loved her cocker spaniel, "Jax".
Also surviving is her stepson, Brian Nardo and stepdaughter, Melissa and her husband Russ Leach, her sister Allyson Snyder, nephew, Chris Snyder, niece, Dr. Pamela Simpson, great niece, Bailey and 2 great nephews, Gabriel and Matthew.
A visitation for Jacquelyn will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 West Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606.
