Jasmine Cherelle Bryant, 33, of Oley, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She fought a courageous battle for more than two years against Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. She was the fiancé of Bret Shafer. Jasmine was born in Reading,Pennsylvania on April 5, 1992. She was the beloved daughter of Denise L. (Spencer) Bryant and Jason L. Bryant, Sr. She was a 2010 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. Ever since she was a little girl, Jasmine had a passion for reading and even shared her passion with others while being employed as the Director at the Oley Valley Community Library. Jasmine enjoyed relaxing on the beach and watching the waves. She also loved nothing more than spending time with her three children and watching them learn and grow everyday.
Other survivors are her 3 children, Daphne L. Shafer, Theodore S. Shafer and Mia H. Shafer, her stepmother, Patricia Holland-Bryant, her brother, Jason L. Bryant Jr. and his wife Megan T. Bryant, her paternal grandparents, Willie L. Bryant Jr. and Sherron E. (Beckham) Bryant and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jasmine's warmth, strength, and radiant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Jasmine was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Reginald S. Spencer and Norise(Marshall) Spencer. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday September 5, 2025 from 5pm-7pm at Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn Street Reading, PA 19601. In honor of Jasmine’s vibrant spirit and her favorite color, guests are encouraged to wear green.
