Joann Carol Purcell

She is survived by her husband, Thomas P. Purcell. They shared 49 years of marriage.

Joann was born in Reading on June 1, 1942, a daughter of the late Lewis Killinger and Esther (Pflum) Lengle.

She is also survived by her children: Lisa and her husband, Brian Bogert, of Fleetwood; Dawn and her husband, J.R.

King, of Muhlenberg; and Paul Purcell and his significant other, Mary Mott of Leesport.

There are also her siblings: Eleanor and her husband, Peter Gravinese; Betty and her husband, Donald Beidler;

Margaret Pflum; Nancy Pflum; Kenneth and his wife, Roxanne Pflum; Tom and his wife, Bonnie Pflum; and Michael

Pflum; 3 grandchildren: Kayla, Kyle, and Caitlyn; anpd 2 great-granddaughters, Sophia and Jazlynn.

Joann was predeceased by her 2 brothers, Barry Pflum and James Pflum.

Services will be Friday September 5, 2014 at 1 p.m. in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading.

Burial to follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be Friday 11-1 p.m. in the funeral home.
