John Reichert Brendel Sr.

John proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a testament to his dedication and strong sense of duty. After his service, he went on to become a loving husband to his wife, Helen, and a devoted father to his three children: John Brendel Jr. (wife Kathy), Kenneth Brendel, and Wendy Brendel. He was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Jerrica, Kaleb, Karissa, Jarod, and Alexis, and a great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren: Kadence, Zyaire, Kayone, and Navir.

Family was the center of John's life, and his greatest joy came from spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Outside of family, John had a love for the outdoors, especially golfing, which brought him much happiness throughout his life.

John worked in commercial construction for over 40 years, serving as a superintendent. His dedication, leadership, and work ethic were respected by all who knew him. After retiring in 2019, he enjoyed his time with family and the things he loved most.

John's memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family.
