Jose Luis Medina Sr.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on April 6, 1946, a son of Felicita (Alicea) Medina of Puerto Rico and the late Joaquin Medina.

Jose was a member of Central Evangelical Shalom Church in Reading and was employed by Stanley G. Flagg in Pottstown in various jobs, for 20 years, retiring in 1993.

Also surviving are his children: Jose L. Medina Jr. of AZ; Giovanni J. Luis Medina of Reading; Lizette Medina of Reading; Marilyn, wife of Matias Rodriguez-Colon, of Reading; Evelyn Medina, wife of Anthony Ostolaza, of Reading; Danishia Rodriguez-Lopez, wife of Dennis Lopez, of Reading; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Joaquin Medina Jr.; and his sister, Naida Medina.

Jose was predeceased by his brother, Eddie Medina.

Services will be Friday, February 26, 2016, at 11 a.m. in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. A viewing will be Thursday, February 25, 2016, 5-10 p.m., in the funeral home.
