Lamont Charles Farrich, 76, passed away on November 13th from complications of Parkinson's disease. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Almont and Cora (Ray) Farrich, and was predeceased by a sister, Patricia.
Lamont is survived by his soulmate, Carolyn Ciesielski, and several nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Reading High and the Culinary Institute of America, New Haven, CT. He was a talented chef d'cuisine at several restaurants, among them, Plaza Madrid, Heidelberg Country Club, Inn at Oley, Reading Country Club, and York Country Club, and retired as Manager of the Dish of Salt, Rockefeller Center, New York City.
Lamont enjoyed traveling, and visited England, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Spain, Morocco, Mexico, and others.
Lamont will always be remembered and loved for his kind and caring nature.
