He was born in Reading on June 7, 1994 a son of Daniel L and Toni M (Hines) Benton.
Marcus was a 2013 Reading High graduate and had 3 years of Reading ROTC. He was an avid skateboarder.
Also surviving are his 2 children, Abigail Benton and Josiah Benton, siblings; Darren Benton, Derrick Benton, Daniel Benton Jr., Demitri Benton, Ciarra Benton, Quincy Benton, his maternal grandparents, Cassandra E Hines of Reading, Ray Hines of AZ., paternal grandmother Mattie Butler of Reading. Marcus was predeceased by his grandfather Daniel Benton.
Services will be Thursday November 10, 2016 at 12 noon in Theo C Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St Reading. Viewing 11-12 noon in the funeral home.
