Margaret Ruth Hafer

Her husband, William L. Hafer Sr. passed away on March 28, 2016.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Willard F. and Kathryn (Herbst) Wagner.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport, and also the Greenfields Fire Company Ladies Auxillary. She worked at the former Speedies Dinette, Greenfields, for 10 years and last worked at the former Ciottis Market, Greenfields, for 20 years, prior to retiring.

She is survived by her daughters: Donna M. Hafer of Sinking Spring; Cynthia L., wife of Kenneth Frankhouser, of Mohrsville; Pamela A., wife of Boris Pikhtovnikoff, of Sinking Spring; and Emma Jean, wife of Angell Viera Sr., of West Lawn. Also her son, William L. Hafer Jr., husband of Amy, of Exeter Township. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Stewart and Donald Wagner and Virginia Sitler.

Services will be held in Auman's, Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading (Exeter Township), on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Friends and family may view on Thursday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
