Mark Edward Dease

Mark Edward Dease, 62, passed away on December 29, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center. Born on October 10, 1963, in Reading, PA, he was the son of William Zawaski and the late Gladys (Chamuras) Zawaski. In addition to his mother, Mark was predeceased by his brothers, Randy, Donald, and Scott Dease.

Mark was educated in the Reading School District and worked as a painter for most of his life.

Mark was funny, caring, loving and had a special place in his heart for animals and cherished time with family. Always ready to lend a hand, he was the kind of person who’d help you with anything, despite not having much himself. He also had a love for grass.

Mark’s memory will be carried on by his father, William Zawaski; his brother, Troy Dease; his sisters, Bonnie Sedoti (Husband - Anthony), Robin Aletras (Husband - Dimitri), and Jenny Zawaski; and his 19 nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and held at the discretion of Mark's family.
