Michael Paul Benne

Michael P. Benne, 53, of Birdsboro passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in his residence. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of Diane L. (Devereaux) Snape of Blackshear, Georgia, and the late Paul J. Benne.

He was employed with the former Stanley G. Flagg Co., Stowe and last worked as a Colorist for the Manning Company, Birdsboro prior to retiring.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Caitlin T. Benne of Birdsboro; his sisters, Lisa A. Gibbons of Spring City and Michelle D. Beard of Blackshear, Ga.; his brother, Jeffrey A. Benne of Royersford; his granddaughters, Molly Jade Stipe and Lilly Jem Stipe; his nephews: Shane, Alex and Denny Gibbons, Joseph Benne and Bradley Hagan and his niece, Julianna Hagan. Also surviving are many aunts and uncles. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his stepfather, David L. Snape.

A memorial service will be held in Auman's, Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reiffton at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Inurnment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
