Mook was fiercely loyal and loving and his heart knew no bounds. He gave love freely to all he met. He was hard not to love and impossible to forget. When he walked into a room you knew you were going to laugh until you cried. He never ran out of great stories or jokes. If you knew him, you loved him, there was no other choice. He was passionate about cooking; having worked as a chef in many restaurants throughout his life and shared this passion with his children, baking with them and teaching them all he knew. His favorites were cinnamon rolls and lava cakes. He was always seeking new ways to grow and expand his knowledge whether spirituality, mentally, physically or academically. He believed knowledge was power. In the words of one of his favorite artists; Bob Marley, “He was a Buffalo solider, dreadlock Rasta, fighting on arrival, fighting for survival. “
