Paulette Williams-Davis

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Paulette Williams Davis, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of God. Born on January 9, 1956, in Clarendon, Jamaica, a daughter of the late Ishmael and Maybell Williams. Paulette brought warmth, compassion, and joy to everyone around her. She passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Paulette was the loving wife of Elwood Davis, and a proud, nurturing mother to Carlton Hayden and wife Felicia Hayden, Darlette Williams and husband Josh Williams, Latrice Sudler, and Laurie Cortez. Her deep love for her family was a guiding light, and her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Briana Hayden, Syairah Hayden, Carlton Hayden, Darnell Jackson Jr., King Williams, Joshua Williams, Jr., Penny Williams, Jamira Medina, Janilis Medina, Jayliana Perez, and Prasiedon Perez.

She is also survived by her beloved sisters: Muriel Brantley, Muriel Davis, Daisy Thomas, and Elaine Gordon. She is reunited in eternity with her late siblings: Lenford Williams, Tillister Passley, and Dernell Thomas.

Paulette dedicated her life to the service of others as a compassionate Home healthcare professional. Her career was a true reflection of her heart—kind, patient, and devoted. Her positive outlook on life was evident in her daily actions. She lived her faith through her daily actions, always willing to help those in need, and was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Church of God.

Her greatest joys were found in family, fellowship, and her faith. She often put her concern for the health and safety of her kids far ahead of any of her own challenges and concerns. She was the center of her immediate family, the glue that held every one together. She was Aunty Paulette to so many of her nieces and nephews. Her fierceness and feisty personality made her the aunt and sister you’d think twice about being on her bad side…

Paulette, "Miss Will" as she was affectionately known as by her family members, left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

"She was a woman with a heart of gold and pure intentions; she is now gone, but her heart will shine forever."

A viewing for Paulette will be held Monday, June 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church of God, 130 W Buttonwood St, Reading, PA 19601, followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM.
