

She was the loving wife of the late Rowe C. Collins. Rowe passed away Jan. 20, 1982. Pauline was born in Reading on July 18, 1915, a daughter of the late William and Esther (Stetzler) Snyder.
She attended Reading Area Schools before taking employment with the Latisse Leather Purse Factory in the 1940s during WWII. Pauline's real job was raising her family. She and Rowe had 11 beautiful children.
Surviving are her children: Charles A. Collins of Kempton; George I. Collins of Fleetwood; Robert E. Collins and his wife, Bernadette M. of Reading; Pearl (Collins) Ohlinger of Kempton; Louis M. Collins and his wife, Mary of Reading; Elizabeth (Collins) Leinbach of Reading; Daniel A. Collins and his wife, Michelle of Robesonia; and William S. Collins and his wife, Robin of Macungie; a sister, Dorothy Kline of Laureldale and five generations of grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Rowe and her parents, Pauline is predeceased by her children: Ronald W. Collins, Barbara Ohlinger and Rowe R. Collins; sons-in-law: Clarence Ohlinger, George Ohlinger and Thomas Leinbach Jr.; sister, Florence Sell; brothers-in-law, Russell Sell and Robert Kline.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Pauline will be laid to rest next to her husband, Rowe, in Laureldale Cemetery, Reading.
