Randall "Randy" Scott Law, 66, of Wernersville, PA passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Reading Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Reading, PA on May 17, 1959, he was a son to the late Lewis Law and Bette (Lanzendorfer) Law.
A graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1977, Randy was a true athlete in his day, playing baseball, football, and wrestling. But what mattered just as much to him as sports were the friendships he made along the way. He kept in touch with buddies from high school and even a few from as far back as kindergarten, a testament to his loyalty.
Randy wore many hats over the years and excelled in each one. He spent 25 years as a union painter with Local 55 IUPAT (International Union of Painters and Allied Trades), then dedicated 15 years as a steelworker at Carpenter Technology before retiring. But retirement didn’t slow him down. He found purpose and joy in his most recent role as a van driver for the Conrad Weiser School District. He took great pride in caring for “his kids” on the route, always looking out for them as if they were his own.
He was a proud member of both Cacoosing and South End Gun Clubs, and loved days spent target shooting with his sons and friends. Randy also enjoyed the simple things in life: beach trips to Ocean City, Maryland, bike rides along trails, watching Phillies games, home improvement projects, long walks with his dog Fritz at Blue Marsh, and above all, being with his grandsons.
Randy was strong, stoic and hardworking, with quiet strength, sharp wit, and a kind nature. He was the guy you called when you needed something fixed or needed advice about life. He was stubborn in the best ways, fiercely loyal, and always put others before himself. A family man through and through, Randy lived his life with quiet integrity, steady hands, sense of humor that never faded.
Randy’s spirit lives on through his beloved wife of 38 years, Linda Ann (Lush) Law; his sons, Dan Law and his wife Ellie, and Ryan Law and his significant other Stephanie; his sister, Patrice Storch; and his cherished grandsons, Henry and William Law. He also leaves behind his loyal four-legged walking buddy, Fritz, and a circle of lifelong friends who will never forget him.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Auman's Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606, followed by a celebration of life service at 6:00 PM, with celebrant Sheryl Manzella officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Randy's memory may be made to Bethany Children's Home, 1863 Bethany Rd., Womelsdorf, PA 19567
