

Born in Philadelphia on November 7, 1933, he was a son of the late Norman and Hettie (Seamon) Leedom.
Married on September 20, 1958 to Isabelle Leedom née Van Horn, the couple would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.
Bob served in the US Army for two ears in the 3rd Armored Calvary (tanks). He worked for Unisys Corp., as a manager for 37 1/2 years before retiring in 1995 to North Fort Myers, Florida. For 18 years Bob volunteered in the maintenance department and seed bank at a mission agency, ECHO, in Fort Myers, Florida where missionaries trained in agriculture. He mentored boys at the local elementary school to pass on the love of reading. He volunteered at Grace Methodist Thrift Store where he tested electronic equipment before they were sold.
Bob and Isabelle traveled on short-term mission trips and he built housing for students in Alaska Bible College and built a church in Waragul, India. He led several senior trips including one to Mexico to stucco a house, visit seniors and ending with a celebration with a group of orphan children.
Bob was a member of Community Church at Garden Spot Village where he and his wife lived for the past four years.
In addition to his wife, Isabelle; Bob is survived by two children: Robert W. Leedom, Jr and his wife, Tina Crain Leedom of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Donna E. (Leedom) Juliano and her husband, Robert J. Juliano of Exton, Pennsylvania and four grandchildren: Katie Bland, Aaron Leedom, Alex Juliano and Isabella Juliano and brother: Norman B. Leedom of Cape Coral, Florida.
He is predeceased by his parents, Norman and Hettie and his sister, Dorothy (Leedom) Smith.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at 3pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at The Community Church of Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA 17557 with Pastor Chet Yoder officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA 17552 or to the ECHO Global Farm, 17391 Durrance Rd., North Fort Myers, FL 33917.
