

Born in Reading on May 10, 1916, he was the son of the late Bright W. and Edith (Taylor) Woodworth.
Robert was a Reading High School graduate and an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Reading, where he was a choir member.
He was a professional violinist and played with the Reading Symphony Orchestra. Robert was employed by Armour-Dial, Inc., as a credit manager for over 30 years, retiring there.
He is survived by his son, Curtis W. husband of Virginia Woodworth; and two grandchildren, Stephen Woodworth and Denise Wallack. There are also five great-grandchildren: Alex, Cole, Stephanie, Annabel and Amelia.
Services will be Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn Street, Reading. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
