Rodney Brian Williams

Rodney was born in Reading on September 19, 1966 a son of Walter Edwards and Williene "DeeDee" Williams both of Reading.

Rodney was a member of Mt Zion Church of God in Christ, and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Harrisburg, as a mail handler for 24 years last working 2 weeks ago.

He was a 1984 Reading High School graduate where he played football with N.W. Spartans, N.W. Vikings, and Reading High Red Knights.

Rod was an avid Washington Redskins fan.

In addition to his parents, Rodney is also survived by his daughter, Kiana Williams, a special daughter, Fynezse Borquez both of Allentown, his companion, Alysa Ortiz, his 2 brothers, Anthony Williams of Reading, Dwayne Edwards of Kentucky, his sister, Nakia Clemons of Reading, his grandmother Emma Edwards of Reading, godmother Sharon Walton, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rodney was predeceased by his sister, Alisha Edwards.

Services will be Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 11am in Mt Zion Church of God in Christ, 214 S 6th St., Reading. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
