Born on September 23, 1946 in Reading, he was a son of the late Thelma (McNeal) and Elwood W. Heck, Sr.
Terry was known for his pencil drawings and his love for art brought him to tattooing. In 1981, he opened up his first tattoo shop in the city called HD Assault. As time went on, he strived for a quieter life and closed the shop in the city and opened what is now New Image Tattoo in Bernville.
Terry was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding the road less traveled with his friends. He loved boating, scuba diving and seafood by the Chesapeake. Terry’s fondest memories were with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Brenda, Terry is survived by a step son, Henry “Hank” Heck; two grandchildren, Taylour and Tylor; a sister, Veronica Baker and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by three brothers, Edward “Eddie”, Elwood II, “Buddy” and Henry “Hank” Heck.
