Theresa Marie Ebert

Theresa Marie(Cote) Ebert, 86, died on Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Apache Junction. Born on October 12, 1929 in Madawaska, she was the daughter of Patrick Cote (d.1967) and Lucie (Cyr) Cote (d.1974).

Terri graduated from Madawaska High School, class of 1948. She received her nursing degree from Portland General Hospital in 1952 and enjoyed a successful career as a Registered Nurse and homemaker.

Terri married Clinton Ebert in Pennsylvania in 1954, then settled in Connecticut and raised her family there while continuing her nursing career at St. Francis Hospital. The family came back to Madawaska every summer to spend time with her parents at their cottage and to visit friends and relatives until the passing of her mother in 1974.

Terri also returned to Madawaska several times to attend high school class reunions. After Terri retired from her nursing career, she traveled throughout the United States and Canada in a recreational vehicle for over 20 years, making new friends everywhere and seeing the historic sites and abundant natural beauty of both countries. She eventually settled in Arizona where she lived out her remaining years in the loving company of her husband and daughter.

Terri is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clinton Ebert; daughter, Trish Tyrone; son, Michael Ebert; cousin, J. Reynold Cyr; and several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Reading, Pennsylvania.
