Timothy Douglas Reich, 70, of Leesport, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years of marriage, Melney A. (Van Riper) Reich. Tim was born in West Reading on December 14, 1952, a son of the late Jerald R. and Christine F. (Homan) Reich.
He was employed WR Grace as a production supervisor, then Senior Human Resource Manager under Novipax for 40 years, retiring in 2017. Timothy enjoyed being with nature, gardening and bird watching. Above all, he loved his grandchildren's antics.
Also surviving are his 2 daughters, Jessica Lee (Reich) wife of Anthony M. Madeira of Stillwater, NJ, and Lindsey Janelle (Reich) wife of Lucas Gebhart of Bel Air, MD., 4 grandchildren: Griffin Madeira, Piper Madeira, Hannah Gebhart and Thomas Henry Gebhart. Timothy is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey L. Reich.
A Memorial Gathering for Timothy will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 210 S. 5th St, Reading, PA 19602. Visitation will take place 9:00AM-11:00AM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM.
Timothy will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park immediately following the service.
