William D. Bryson Sr, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Janice C. (Kohut) Bryson who shared 53 years of marriage. William was born in Reading on February 27, 1952 a son of the late Robert Bryson and Betty (Drabenstadt) Fayewicz.
William was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was employed by Car-Tech as a roller for 38 years, retiring in 2012. He was a faithful member of St. Ignatius Loyola Church. William was fond of the outdoors, especially camping, hiking and was an avid hunter. He spent time fishing in his younger years. He was a handyman who fixed and repaired everything on his own. William cherished his granddaughters and would do anything for them.
He is also survived by his son, William D. Bryson, Jr and his wife Shawna Bryson and his daughter, Kristen Yost and her husband Michael Yost, Jr and his 3 granddaughters; Madison Bryson, Lauren Yost and Meredith Yost. Also surviving are 4 sisters and several nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his daughter, Michelle Lynn Bryson and his 2 brothers, Robert B. Bryson and Michael P. Fayewicz.
