In Loving Memory of Aubrey DeWayne Smith, Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Uncle and Brother.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Betty, brother, Ronald of Redding, his children: Loran Smith of Medford, OR, Curtis Smith of Mesa, AZ, Doug, Greg and Chris Rathbun of Redding, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Born in McArthur, CA, DeWayne graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1951. He enlisted in the Army at the age of 21, and served his country in the Korean War. In 1955 his family moved from Medford, OR and together they opened Redding's first drive in theater, the Skyvue Drive-In. He later retired from Mack Truck and FB Hart Trucking Companies.
DeWayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, hunting, fishing, motorcycles and traveling with Betty in their RV.
He will be remembered, missed and loved by all that knew him.
