Harriet Dee Sawyer

Harriet was born October 6, 1941 in Compton, California. Harriet resided at Mercy Oaks and was very involved in the communities activities. She enjoyed arts and crafts, playing games, spending time with her family and friends and her kitty Sammy.

Survivors include her three daughters; Tammy Sawyer of Redding, Cindy Seawright of Redding, Lisa Sawyer of San Jose, California and her sister Moody Creedon. Harriet also leaves behind her son-in-law Robert Seawright; her two grandsons CJ DeMercurio and Joshua DeMercurio and her soon to be granddaughter Colette. Memorial services will be held at Lawncrest Chapel 1522 East Cypress Ave Redding, California 96002 on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 10am. Reception immediately following at the home of Robert and Cindy Seawright, 3883 Siskiyou St., Redding, CA 96001. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in the name of Harriet Sawyer to the animal rescue organization of your choice.

The family wishes to extend a Special Thank You to all our Mom's friends at Mercy Oaks as well as to the caring staff of Interim HealthCare who took such great care of her over the years.

Harriet D. Sawyer, 70, of Redding passed away Friday at Marquis Care at Shasta in Redding.
