She would not want to dwell on death, but rather life, SHE LIVED!
In 1963 she moved with her family from Orange County where she grew up, attended Garden Grove High School, and got her AA at Santa Anna Community College, to Central Valley, CA.
Her dream was to see the world! She set about training to be a travel agent. She was at Palmer's, for some time, and then at Avanti Travel for 20 years. She visited many lands and always had her camera and eyes wide open. Simultaneously, she was a freelance writer for the Record Searchlight and shared her experiences with Shasta County by writing "The Scene" column.
Her interests were many. Her church, her country/politics, her cats, books, music, genealogy, and friends everywhere. She was interesting and interested!
She belonged to numerous organizations - Anderson Community Church, Native Daughters of the Golden West, Republican Women, Soroptimist Int'l., Greeters, Chamber of Commerce, Jazz society, and Anderson Senior Center.
Her motto: Go, See, Do - before I drop
Jacque is survived by her proud and loving daughters Collen and Shannon, Granddaughters Christy and Kelly, Great Grandchildren Brady, Grayce, Bryson, Raya, and Avery, and Great Granddaughter Annistyn Margaret.
Her husband Art Jabs passed in 2010.
Her service will be held on November 15, 2025 at 2:00pm at Lawncrest Chapel and Memorial Park 1522 E Cypress Ave, Redding, CA. Dessert reception to follow.
