

Born Marian Lunetta Wheatley on August 14, 1933 in Los Angeles, CA. She was the 3rd of 4 children born to Lee and Alberta Wheatley. In her youth, she traveled the west coast with her family, working in agriculture. In 1952, on March 28th, she married the love of her life, Ted Booth. They traveled, the west coast as he hauled trailers and she drove pilot car.Waiting 9 years to start their family, they moved to Redding and greeted 2 loving daughters Mary Ann Booth and Alberta May (Booth) Cellini. As a homemaker, she became involved with the girls at Buckeye School, being a room mother for both girls. After her husbands death she worked as a childcare worker at Timberlanes, Country Bowl, and Shasta Lanes, and cared for many children in her home. She is preceded in death by her husband Ted, her mother and father Alberta and Lee Wheatley, sisters Louise Haskel and Midge Clark, and brother Lee Wheatley Jr. She leaves behind 2 daughters Mary Ann Booth and Alberta (Booth) Cellini, 9 grandchildren, Josh (Ashley), Joey, Michael (Corinna), Jesslyn, Maykyla, Victoria, Austin, Alexys and Mattie. Five great grandchildren Bailey, Parker, Kaedance, MaKinley and Lila, all of Redding. Two sisters-in-law Kay (Gene) Gamble and Sue Booth, both of Oregon, many loving nieces, nephews and friends . We will always love and miss you. You will be forever in our hearts. -
