Mary Lee Hodges

1930 - 2014

Mary Lee Hodges, 84, of Happy Valley, Anderson, CA passed away on August 6, 2014 from heart failure.

Born to Ray Lee and Gorgia Ella Jones on April 13, 1930 in Kinta, OK.

Mary moved to Yountville, CA with her parents at the age of 13. She attended school in Yountville and Napa High. After high school, she worked at several cafes, veterans home, and Imola.

Mary had 3 sons Floyd Carson who died in 1987, George Figueroa who died in 2002 and Marvin Smith. Mary has several nieces, nephews and 6 grandchildren: Michael Creason, Elizabeth Creason, Amy Figueroa, Jennifer Figueroa, Maryella Smith, Curtis Smith, and 2 great grandchildren: Jessie Dodson, and Aliceon Dodson.

She spent most of her life in Napa and Vallejo, CA area moving to Anderson in 1991 where she planned to enjoy gardening, fishing and visiting with family and friends.

Viewing will be Thursday, August 14 from 4-8pm at Lawncrest.

Service will be held Friday, August 15 at 10 AM at McDonalds Chapel in Redding.
