Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Lambeth passed away on March 9, 2021, 10 days before her 93rd birthday. Betty was born on March 19, 1928 in Pasco, Washington. In 1946 she moved to Humboldt County, CA where she met and married Ralph in 1949. Betty and Ralph moved to Fieldbrook in 1955 building their own home on Carson Street. They raised their 3 daughters and spent most of their retirement years enjoying their property in Fieldbrook. Ralph loved to restore old cars and Betty tended to her beautiful flowers. They also worked together building furniture for their daughters’ families. After Ralph passed away in 1997 Betty stayed on in Fieldbrook before moving to Portland, OR in 2003, then to Redding, CA in 2012. She spent the last 3 years at Sundial Assisted Living where she made many friends and received wonderful, loving care.
Betty is survived by daughters Kathy (Bill) McLaughlin, Janice (Bruce) Graham, Debra (Anya) Lambeth; 6 grandchildren – Jamie (Greg), David (Melissa), Erin, Ryan, Sydney, and Mir; and 2 great granddaughters – Lilly and Violet. Family graveside services will be held at Ocean View Cemetery, Eureka, CA on March 27th.
