Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Cousin & Friend. Nancy Fuller, 81, of Redding earned her angel wings July 8th, 2012. She passed away peacefully in her own home with family by her side. Although she is in heaven, we know she is with us in spirit and will always be watching over us. Nancy was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Paul and Floriene Phyllis Johnston on July 23rd 1931. She was one of six siblings. She attended Otho high school. Nancy married Arthur D. Fuller in 1951 and moved to Southern CA. They were blessed with two sons; Steven and Gregory. Nancy retired from Aerospace Corp. in El Segundo, CA. In 2001 Nancy moved from Gardena to Redding where she soon became a member of the Rebellious Elegant Dames of the Red Hat Society and the Newcomers Club. Nancy loved to decorate and garden. She also loved seeing the world, she traveled to many places including; China, Scotland and a cruise to the Mediterranean with her granddaughter Keri.
She is survived by a loving family in Northern CA, Southern CA, Iowa and all around the United States, including her sister and brother in law Edna and Kenny Brown, of Redding, her sister in law Beth Lennon of Fort Dodge, IA, her sister in law Betty Johnston of Lakeland FL, her son and daughter in law Steven and LewEtta Fuller of Redding, her son and daughter in law Gregory and Susan Fuller of Torrance, CA and her only grandchild Keri Anne Fuller of Orange, CA.
A memorial and viewing will be held in Redding on Wednesday July 18th from 4:00-6:00 PM at Lawncrest Memorial Chapel and official services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park, in Rancho Palos Verdes, Friday, July 20, 2012, 11:00 A.M. Nancy lived a long wonderful life and is now reunited with her husband Arthur who pre-deceased her 21 years ago. She was always positive and never took the little things for granted. She commented daily how fortunate and thankful she was for the life she led.
