Sherri Lynn Benson

Sherri Lynn Benson age 67, a resident of Anderson, C.A. was born February 1, 1948 in Redding California. Sherri grew up in what was known as Central Valley, now Shasta Lake City. She passed away on March 3, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jodi Lee Blaylock and mother Marianne Frances Blaylock. Sherri leaves behind her loving husband William Benson, a sister Susan Walker, a brother Kenneth Blaylock, two sons, William Burke and Donald Burke, a daughter Candy Lomeli, a step daughter Pamela Himes, an adopted son Ronald Cramner, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Sherri's greatest achievements were her children and her grandchildren she was the best mom and best friend in the world.

She worked as Chaplin for the Lady's Auxiliary for the VFW hall for several years, sitting with many of our veterans in their final hours so they were not alone.

Her hobbies were crafts, she loved to make quilts, wind chimes, cross stitch, puzzles. Sherri loved to read books, horror, then true crime, then romance but always really thick really fast.

Sherri had a gift straight from God, when it came to babies she just always knew what to do. She was the strongest woman and will be missed more than word's could ever say.
