Susan Lee Lange

May 27, 1952 - July 23, 2012

Susan Lee Lange died peacefully at home and entered into the rest of the Lord. early Monday morning, July 23, 2012.

Susie was born in New Haven, CT, the youngest daughter to Wayne and Doris Peart, joining her older sister Marty. At age 5, Susie and her family moved out west to Southern CA. She graduated from Estancia High School, Costa Mesa, CA. After attending Orange Coast College and earning her A.A., Susie relocated to Sonoma County in Northern CA.

She worked as a pharmacist assistant at Drug Giant in Petaluma, CA. It was in Petaluma that she met her future husband and the love of her life, Allan. Allan and Susie lived in Petaluma for over twenty years, where she spent her time raising their two children, Jeffrey and Amy. After Allan's retirement in 2003, they sold the family ranch and relocated to Redding, CA.

Susie possessed a strong faith in Christ. She enjoyed many different hobbies such as needlepoint, cardmaking, doll collecting, and gardening. She also loved animals, especially her dog Harley. She even started a 4-H chapter at her kids' elementary school, Cinnabar in Petaluma, CA.

Susie and Allan were able to enjoy four different cruises and a trip to Hawaii. Some of the organizations that Susie was involved with included the PTA of her kids' schools Creative Circle, Stampin' Up, Needlenuts, Newcomers, the Elks Club, and the Redding Traildusters R.V. Club (both with Allan).

She is survived by her loving husband, Allan Lange, her son, Jeffrey Lange, her daughter-in-law, Jessica Lange, her daughter, Amy Lange, her mother, Doris Peart, her sister, Marty Peart, and her five grandchildren, Jared, Kiley, Sydney, Olivia, and Adelyn.

A memorial service will he held Friday, August 3, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at Lawncrest Chapel, Redding, CA.
