John Angelo Larese

John Angelo Larese was born February 22, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents: Attilio and Mary Larese. John passed away on December 18, 2021 at age 80. Beloved father of Patrick Larese. Cherished grandfather of Gillian Larese and Cecilia Morrill. Dear uncle of Alex Larese , brother-in-law of Margaret Larese and cousin of Lorraine Burrows.

John loved anything to do with outdoors, he especially loved hunting every season, fishing and trapping. Growing up in an Italian household, John loved his favorite Italian dishes and shared his love of food with his family. He was a longtime member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Livonia since 1960, he was married in the church and raised his family through the church as well. When John had the opportunity to leave High School and serve in the Navy he honorably served until being discharged in 1964. He proudly served for the City of Livonia for many years in the Department of Public Services. John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation is Monday December 27, 2021 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Devon Aire Community Church of the Nazarene: 9435 Henry Ruff Rd., Livonia, MI 48150. John will be laid to rest at Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.
