Joyce Lynn Curylo

Joyce Lynn Curylo was born December 8, 1947 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late Bennie & Stella Boythe. She was one of 3 children. Joyce passed away peacefully on May 26, 2019 with her only son by her side in Farmington Hills, Michigan at the age of 71.

Joyce was the beloved mother of Richard Curylo. Loving aunt of Alan Boythe. Dear great-aunt of 3 great-nieces. She will be missed by her distant cousins Tiffany and Wendy who she referred to as her "Special Girls". Joyce will also be deeply missed by her life-long best friend Sandy Marks as well as her 3 cats: Little-One, Missy & Tiger.

Joyce worked making car parts at the Woodall Factory for many years. Woodall's is the place she met her best friend Sandy and also was described as her favorite job. After Woodall's, Joyce managed the family business; "Ben's Hamburgers" on Seven Mile in Detroit until it closed. Joyed had a passion for the music of Elvis Presley. She and her son Richard waited in line outside overnight to purchase Elvis' last album. Joyce loved her cats, the color lavender, her long hair, polish food and her soap opera's. However, her true love was her family. Joyce simply loved spending time with her family, friends, and special girls. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Joyce's family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 25450 Plymouth Road, Redford Township, Michigan 48239. A panahida prayer service will begin at 7:00 PM. The final viewing will be Friday, May 31, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Ukranian Catholic Church, 26667 Joy Road, Dearborn Heights, Michigan 48127 followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass led by Father Volodymyr Petriu. Joyce will be laid to rest with Committal Prayers at St. Hedwig Catholic Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan with a luncheon to follow.
