Mary Ruth Carrillo was born in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Robert and Marjorie Booterbaugh on December 31, 1934. She was one of 17 children. Mary passed away peacefully in her Detroit, Michigan home on September 13, 2012 at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mary was the beloved mother of Ruben (June) Carrillo, Manuel (the late Rosalinda) Carrillo, Porfirio Carrillo, Lisa (Kenneth) Tice, Charles Sandridge and the late Priscilla Carrillo who passed away before her in 1995.
Mary is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Mary will be laid to rest in Woodmere Cemetery, 9400 W. Fort Street, Detroit, Michigan 48209. Date and time to be announced.
Mary's family would like to say a special "Thank You" to all of Mary's caregivers from Karmano's Hospice, especially Dawn Fortner, who took care of Mary's family as well as Mary with unending support of hugs, tears, laughter, and listening.
