Richard D. Ax

Richard passed away in the same Redford home he grew up in on July 25, 2017 at the age of 74. He is now present with the Lord.

Richard loved spending time with his family. He was the loving father of Cynthia Ax, Donald Ax, and Richard C. Ax. He will also be missed by Cody, his Labradoodle, who was his friend and loyal companion.

Richard was a purchasing agent for an auto supply company, but was enjoying his retirement. He had a brilliant mind and could build or fix anything with his collection of tools. He renovated the family home and made a beautiful koi pond. He built his own workshop where he made wood pens and mailboxes. Most of all, Richard loved to cook for his family.

Richards’s family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 2-8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 25450 Plymouth Road, (Just east of Beech Daly) Redford Township, Michigan 48239.

Richard will be laid to rest privately at Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery
