Tony Lubus

Tony Lubus was born in Saraain El Faouqa, Lebanon on October 10, 1940 to John and Kounsliye Lubus. He was of six children. He passed away suddenly in Garden City, Michigan on October 22, 2023 at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of Marcelle for 54 years. Loving father of Dany (Carole) Lubus, George (Maya) Lubus, Denise (Maroun) Haj, and Roy (Zeina) Lubus

Dear Jiddo of Micha, Giovanni, George, Alicia, Tatiana, Tony, Joe, Savio, Vanessa, Jane, and Alena.

Brother of Fahad (Amal) Lubus, the late Nabih Lubus, Tarez (the late Louise) Menassa, Antoinette (the late Simaan) Khalil, Sami (Nina) Lubus.

In his younger years Tony loved to travel to Lebanon and see his family. However, his current passion was simply to be a husband, father and grandfather. He had a huge heart and a contagious smile, he will be deeply missed.

Tony's family will receive friends for a visitation from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church 32765 Lyndon, Livonia, MI 48154.

Tony's life will be celebrated with an 11:00am Mass at St. Rafka on Friday, October 27, 2023.

He will be laid to rest in Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, MI with a Meal of Mercy to follow at the church.
