Winifred was a kind, loving woman. Talented in the arts, she worked as a professional artist, selling many of her painting. She was also a gifted keyboardist. Even as she got older and her health began to deteriorate, she was still able to play beautifully. She was a gifted and wonderful woman.
Winifred was the loving wife of the late George Lazenby. The dear mother of the late Sharon Risch and Ronald Lazenby. Grandmother of Ronald Lazenby Jr. Beloved sister of Norman Wilson, Ruth Chamberlain, Doris, and Fred Wilson. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and Frank Childs, who was like a brother to her.
Winifred's family will receive friends on Sunday October 21, 2012 from 4-8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 24450 Plymouth Rd. (east of Beech Daly) in Redford.
Her life will be celebrated with a funeral service on Monday October 22, 2012 at 11 am at the funeral home.
She will be laid to rest at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland, Michigan.
