She will be missed by her husband, her children and by her family, here and in Okinawa, as well as her adoring friends.
Born in Naha City, Okinawa, on November 26, 1938, she faced the challenges of her early years with remarkable resilience, living through the difficult times of World War II.
As a young girl, she made the selfless decision to leave high school to work and support her family. Later in life, she married John M. Cable and embraced motherhood, raising five loving children and welcoming numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren into her life.
She was also an inspiring individual who participated in the L.A. Marathon, even at her age, and after suffering a heart stroke. She departed this world on April 29, 2025, in Redondo Beach, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength that will always be cherished.
