Deep sea fishing in July 2026. We all had a blast.

The traditional annual tamale making get together. Matthew and his nephew Vince made it happen every year.

Matthew and Mom. Matthew was very caring and loved our mom deeply. Being the youngest of nine siblings He was a mamas boy.

Matthew’s death was so sudden and unexpected and just so hard to understand. My husband Joseph and I send our deepest condolences to his siblings, nieces and nephews and all who loved him. Our daughter Amber and Matthew shared a special relationship  these past 20+ years, and because our Amber loved him, we too came to also really share those feelings. Matthew was a good man and he will be so missed. As a person of faith, I do not say goodbye… I say to Matthew… see you later.

Matthew turkey hunted every turkey season. We would be excited if he harvested a turkey for that years Thanksgiving dinner.

Matthew was an avid fisherman. Loved to go deep sea fishing.
