It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Alice Stoner on February 6, 2022, aged 95 years.
Alice was born on November 10, 1926, on the family farm in the RM of Sherwood just northwest of Regina.
Alice attended Dundonald School, Luther College and then Secretarial School at Balfour Collegiate.
She then worked at the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool until her marriage to Grant.
Alice was a home maker, mother, farmer, and our best friend.
Alice was predeceased by her parents George and Esther Dunn, husband Grant Stoner, brothers Bill and Jack Dunn and brother-in-law Jack (John) Stoner.
Alice is survived by her children Dianne Palmer (Stoner), Glenna Stoner and Bill (Candace) Stoner as well as her grandchildren Jay, Jordan, Jonathan and Margo Palmer, Reva (Dustin) Carey, Rayna (Dillon) Holowaty, Christopher and Matthew Stoner and her great grandson Keenan Stoddart.
There will not be a funeral service per Alice’s wishes. There will be a private interment later this spring.
