It is with sadness that the family of Alma Spanier announces her passing on Monday, September 30, 2013 at age 94 years, surrounded by her loving family. She will be re-united with her husband Albert Spanier and daughter Dianne Kirsch. She is survived by her sons Earl (Carol) Spanier, Don (Wilma) Spanier, Garnet (Debbie)Spanier and daughter Darlene (Michael) Dirk, brothers Edwin (Jean) Schulhauser and John Schulhauser, sister Marion Schulhauser, sisters-in-law Georgina Macknak and Betty Schulhauser. 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, 302 Boundary Avenue S., Fort Qu’Appelle, SK with Rev. Louis Kim Nguyen officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the All Nations Healing Hospital, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK S0G 1S0.
