Bernard Lussier born February 5, 1940 in St Boniface, Manitoba passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 9, 2016. Predeceased by his parents Omer and Claire (nee Bechard) Lussier, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Bernie attended high school in Gravelbourg and Sedley and left for Toronto where he graduated as an Electronic Technical Engineer specialized in radar and computers. He worked for Picker International with the installation and maintenance of x-ray equipment. After his retirement, he created Bernie’s X-ray Film Processor and worked closely with Radiology Associates of Regina. He considered them as a part of his extended family. Family meant everything to him. He enjoyed watching and attending his children’s and grand-children’s activities. Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Lisette. Left to cherish his memories are his 3 children Steve (Janise) Lussier, Sonia (Greg) Earis, and Marty (Brad) Zimmer; 6 grandchildren Travis Earis (Whitney), Jessica Earis (Evan), Danielle Earis, Adam Zimmer, April Lussier, Emillie Lussier, sister France Bast, niece Guylaine Bast and nephew Darcy Bast. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 1:00pm at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. A private family interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bernie can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
