We got Cammie into storm watching when he was a baby. We would sit on the veranda and watch the lightening and listen to the thunder. As he got older, smarter and old enough to watch YouTube, he watched every storm chaser out there. Just over the past couple months, during tornado season, every day I would get home from work and he would pipe up and tell me about the weather, "Gramma! There's a tornado warning, it's coming from the east! We need to get you, me, grampa and the puppies in the basement!" Only dangerous tornados come from the east folks! Lol
I’ll always miss your goofy little faces or sitting outside and talking about tornados and storms and games for hours on end. You always had the most amazing stories and knew how to make my heart melt in a matter of words. I’ll always be thinking of you buddy and wishing you were here with us. Your cousins miss you to pieces as do we little buddie. Hope you’re having fun playing with Spazzy and Bandit up there. They gained an amazing handsome angel up there. Rest in paradise my little man. ~ Aunt
Cammie was a ray of sunshine. One day just before going to visit Gramma Susan, Cammie came up with a goofy word (woogiefoffle) (don't ask, I still don't know what it is). It was funny and made us smile (the first 10 times) but no matter how many times he said it, he always laughed. I love seeing that big smile grow across his face.
Cammie, the king of showers, 6 years old, 45 minute showers. 15 minutes, standing at the end of the claw foot tub telling me how it tickled his feet, finally got him in the water, 5 mins to wash his hair, asked him if he wanted out, "No gramma, I'll let you know when I want to get out!" Well alrighty then! After 45 mins, I went in to see that he is plugged the tub and just sitting in the water. "I'm a big boy now gramma! I don't have to have a bath anymore".
When Cammie has always had a love for animals, dogs, cats, birds, and bugs. We would smack a fly on the table to kill it. Cammie saw this and was devastated, he ran over, grabbed a click pen, put on my reading glasses and was poking the dead fly with the pen. "Gramma, I'm going to fix him and make it all better again!" He named that fly George. Then every fly he seen was George.
To the love of my life Cameron
You brought so much joy to our family when I first held you I felt you were gunna change the world. You are so handsome looking at me smiling, stared at me while I fed you. You made my life so different how smart you are, the sense of humor you have. I couldn't wait to come out to grandmas and see you waiting on the step for me and smiled as soon as I drove up. When I was leaving you hugged me tight and kissed me and told me you loved me. You make my heart melt when I think about you! I remember taking you fishing with your sister Emma and dad and I, trying to help your sister fish but "she was only 6 months old you can't even cast silly boy", you giggled and walked away. The Halloween I took you out with your sister she was a puppy and you were Luigi. Had so much fun and got so much candy you wanted to try to eat it in one sitting it was so cute. You are a smart intelligent young man, good in math and learnt so fast with new experiences. We love you so much Cameron and not a day goes by we don't think about you! We will never forget your voice or laugh!
Love always,
Mom and dad and emma

To Cammie.
Hey buddy, hope ur having a blast up there doing whatever you can do and playing all the games you can play. Watching you grow up sure was a pleasure. I will never forget the times we had. Sure am going to miss ur laugh whenever I tickled my go-tee on ur neck. You laughed so hard at times I seriously thought you would pee ur self.
Uncle will sure miss the phone calls from grandma with you in the background saying "I want to talk to uncle" and pestering and pestering. All our phone talks about ur mindcraft games and ur Mario games, and about school.
My favorite memory with you is the last time we chilled together. We went swimming and at first you didn't think I would catch you off the slide. But I cought you. I swear you made at least 50 different faces coming down that slide. I still didn't tell ur grandma you wanted the rain umbrella from at home the pool. You sure loved it when it rained over top of you.
Funniest part of it all tho you laughing at tho old man in the shower cause he had a wrinkly bum... my god kid I never laughed so hard in my life.
I'm sorry for never finishing ur play structure with grandma. Uncle sure got busy last summer.
You never did give me that picture you said you drew me. One day tho my man you can give it to me yourself. Until than rest easy Cammie - doo. We sure will all miss you dearly.
Love your uncle Brandon .
