

Carol Ann Lovett, 66, of Regina, SK passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Carol grew up in Estevan, where she met her husband, Michael Lovett. They moved to Regina and raised their 3 daughters. Carol provided daycare and respite services to special needs children in the home. She returned to school before she entered the workforce for the first time outside her home at the Cancer Patient Lodge.
Carol joined Michael in Sioux Lookout where they lived for 12 years, enjoying the great outdoors, particularly summers out on the water fishing and boating. Carol worked at Sioux Mountain Public School where she discovered a passion for working with children as a speech language education assistant. Following Michael’s passing, Carol returned to Regina to be closer to her family. She had many talents; such as sewing clothes and costumes for friends and family, and creating floral arrangements for many family weddings. Carol enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including painting, doing puzzles, playing games and gardening.
Carol was predeceased by her husband, Michael Lovett; daughter Jennifer; and her parents, Roy and Helena Dorcas; and eldest brother Edward and his wife, Gail Dorcas. She is survived by her daughters; Nicole (Trevor Gillis), Kristen (Robb Kirby); grandchildren Caitlynn (Alex Hutchinson), Logan and Keagan; great-granddaughter Chanel; siblings Lorraine (Larry Newton), Roger, Harry, and Mona (Red) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and treasured dog, Mya. Carol will be dearly missed and always remembered.
A funeral will be held on May 31, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home at 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, SK.
