I often think about all the coffee pots we emptied.  I can't remember all that we talked about, but Crystal and I spent a lot of mornings just drinking coffee and talking/laughing.
Then we have our "tea" after our Wednesday afternoon bowling.
I have so many great memories with Crystal, the best one being the year Crystal and I along with Marg Helfrick dressed up for Hallowe'en and visited friends.  We had quite a blast.  The three of us were the "amigas".   I could go on, but don't have enough room.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Crystal’s passing.  I spent quite a bit of time at the Carlson house growing up and she was always incredibly kind, generous and welcoming.  Our thoughts are with the whole family at this difficult time.

I have not seen Crystal for a number of years, not since the baseball days, when Ron played and the wives sat in the stands and visited and cheered.  It is so tragically unfair she got such a short allotment of time here.  It was so wonderful to see that after all of these years, she never lost that big, beautiful, happy smile that went all the way to her eyes.  Ron and family, my condolences on your loss.

I Roger  met Crystal at a local get together watching Rider games. She always enjoyed a laugh or too and was very fun to be around. We used to go to play the horse game in her kitchen. It was a very fun time and her and Ron were the best of hosts. I am so sorry for her loss.

Her wonderful laugh and beautiful smile always made any time with Crystal special, no matter how short.  My favourite remembrance will be visiting her and Ron’s at Christmas time.  It was magical!  Her love of family and joy of the holiday was so obvious in all the work and love that she put into decorating.  A beautiful memory.❤️

My heart goes out to all the Carlson Family.  I have so many fond memories of Crystal and the many things we did together.  I often think of the night Crystal, Marg Helfrick and myself dressed up and went out trick or treating.   We had so much fun that night, and nobody knew who we were.  We all went bowling every week as well, and celebrated after (with a few drinks) our wins and loses.  How about all the coffee mornings and card games we all shared, the many patio parties. AlthoughI haven't seen Crystal for awhile, she has always been in my thoughts. I guess I should have had that coffee date I always thought about having, or the phone call to reconnect.  My loss.  R.I.P Crystal.

Crystal was my cousin, but for many reasons we did not get to see her often. My wife, Elizabeth(Skip) and I remember fondly a few days at the cabin of another cousin in the mountains of BC.  Chuckles and stories on the drive and comfortable evenings around the bonfire. Life is short, and some people never get to know that they touched your life. Our condolences to the family and our love to all of them.

My mother is a warm, generous caring person who has always been there for me whenever I have needed her. I have learned so many lessons from this strong, independent, stubborn and wildly smart person. I can safely say that I would not be who I am today without her encouragement, love and wisdom. My family has been enriched with you in our lives as you have been a shoulder to cry on a giver of skills and a tender of wounds. 
I was thinking about what you said about how you are not a religious person but always lived you life with love. Isn’t that it exactly what religion strives to be, hopes to inspire?  You are full of love to give, forgiver of trespasses, generous with time and encouragement, a good friend, a good neighbour, a lover of the arts, a good citizen of the earth and a fabulous head of your family. All of these things are far more and far better that what organized religion can ever be. Your head should be held high and you should know how proud of you I am. This lesson has been a driving force as I have become a father and have encouraged my children to at the very minimum live life with love in their hearts, and this was the gift from you.
Sometimes your life may not have seemed what you had hoped for, but I know from my family and my perspective you have stayed the course and I couldn’t have been happier how it all turned out. 
I am so sad that it has to end though. I feel angry and robbed of years, decades of time with you. I will miss you and I don’t ever want to say good bye. But alas it’s not up to me. I will miss you cooking. Your special meals that you had perfected over the years, your baking, you treats at Christmas.  Most of all I will miss you at Christmas. 
Your small stature has had a giant sized impact on all of our lives and we are richer for it. You will be so missed and loved forever.
