

David Byrans Olson was born July 19, 1926 to William and Mabel Olson on the farm near Fox Valley, Saskatchewan. He was one of 14 children, Irvan, Lucille, Clarence, Leslie, Edwin, Eileen, Lillian, Vernon, Roy and Isabelle. Eldon, Yvonne and Magdelina who died in infancy. Most of his childhood adventures took place on the family farm near the Little Arm River at Disley, Saskatchewan.
He lived his adult life in Regina and had a long career working for the Department of Highways for the Government of Saskatchewan. On October 21, 1960 he married Judy. They shared one son Kevin and great joy to David, his grandson Tanner.
On July 5, 1980 David and Claire were married and shared a quiet happy life together as they both entered their retirement years. He loved to play cards, board games and put together puzzles. He and Claire enjoyed attending concerts at the casino and loved to play some games of chance also. David loved conversation and social activity and was known as “Uncle Dave” to many.
David always remained young at heart and was always most happy to sepnd time with family and friends.
