The Creator has chosen Desmond Charles Bird to be with him. He will join his family that has gone before him: grandparents Alma & Thomas and Michael Sunshine; brother Jeffrey Bird; uncles Calvin Sunshine & Kalvin Bird; & aunt Delma Bird. He will be sadly missed by his parents Roy & Lorna (Delores) Bird; sisters Lori (Howie) & Shawna (Chris); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, & friends. Wake will be held at Indian Metis Christian Fellowship, 3131 Dewdney Ave., today, Sept. 12, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 at 10:00am, with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Ave.
