April 18, 1936 – December 19, 2023
Dolores passed peacefully after a brief battle with lymphoma. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Laverne. She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret Most, brothers John and Dave Most, sister and brother-in-law Marlene and Frank Dreher. She is survived by her sister Margaret and Dave Perry, and sister in-laws Pat and Arletta Most; her son Kim and Lynda Stack, their children Justin (Ehren) and Katelyn; son Kerry Stack and Sonjia Johansen, his children Mason and Morgan; daughter Bonnie and Bill Buchanan, their son Dale; plus, nieces and nephews.
Dolores worked for the city of Regina in the Planning Department and then as secretary for Mayor Larry Schneider and Mayor Doug Archer until her retirement.
Dolores and Laverne lived in their beautiful lakefront home at Kannata Valley until 2007 where they enjoyed the surrounding scenery of their yard and the lake, where they went boating and fishing. They also enjoyed their many beloved pets. In 2007 they moved to a house in Regina where Dolores remained after Laverne’s passing. Dolores lived independently with her two dogs. She enjoyed her yard and loved to plant flowers each year. She also kept a bird feeder as she had done at Kannata valley and enjoyed watching different kinds of birds visiting her yard. She was also sure to leave peanuts out for the squirrels! Dolores also loved knitting, crocheting watching nature shows on TV and playing cribbage with friends and family. She loved her family and friends dearly and her warmth and kindness always showed this.
Dolores will be missed very much by all the people she has left behind. We will never forget her beautiful voice and her warm smile. We wish her peace, joy and eternal happiness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home. 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, Saskatchewan.
